Job Description
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide care for patients in an acute care setting. This role involves caring for patients admitted and waiting in the Emergency Department (ED) for bed availability, either in a designated area or possibly in the hallway. If there are no patients in need of boarding, nurses may also work in acute care areas, although this should be a rare occurrence.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in an acute care environment.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
- Assist in the management of patients awaiting placement in a bed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care / MS Tele experience required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
