Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This role requires expertise in monitoring and assisting with catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs during catheterization procedures.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on procedures and post-operative care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient conditions and interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • Recent experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Critical Care or Cardiology experience is beneficial.
