Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This role requires expertise in monitoring and assisting with catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs during catheterization procedures.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on procedures and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient conditions and interventions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Recent experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Critical Care or Cardiology experience is beneficial.
