Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patient's needs and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs, and serving as an educator for patients, families, and colleagues. Upholding the organization’s Mission Statement and Core Values, this role emphasizes compliance with the Code of Conduct while maintaining patient and employee safety as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop treatment plans focused on discharge goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address barriers to discharge.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs.
• Document medical records accurately and timely following hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in student programs and provide a positive learning environment.
• Engage in professional development and advocacy efforts within the community.
• Maintain ethical standards and comply with discipline-specific State Practice Acts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• Valid and current State license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
