This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shifts run from 7 AM to 7 PM, and the Nurse is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a Level II Trauma center. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on care processes and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license in the state of Florida.
- Previous experience in a trauma or critical care setting preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
