Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at a state-of-the-art, 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. The focus is on the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses. This role involves providing customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to individual needs, including those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement rehabilitation interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Physical Therapist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
