Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Acute Rehabilitation Unit. This position is ideal for both new graduates and experienced professionals who thrive in a patient-centered and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients recovering from strokes, hip fractures, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Provide support for activities of daily living (ADLs) to enhance patient recovery.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress using EHR systems.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing and rehabilitation staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

COTA certification and licensure in the state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Open to new graduates with relevant education.
