Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends. No on-call requirements.
Job Description
The Emergency Room at our facility is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while ensuring adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and triage patients in a timely manner.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with emergency procedures and trauma care.
- Utilize medical equipment such as Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Operate within established policies and guidelines of the healthcare facility.
- Engage in patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatments.
- Support behavioral health needs through de-escalation techniques and interventions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current Texas RN license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications preferred.
- Experience with trauma and behavioral health patients is a plus.
- Familiarity with MEDITECH EMR is preferred.
