This position offers flexible 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitative treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will utilize evidence-based practice and adhere to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of rehabilitative procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document all patient-related information accurately in the electronic documentation system.
• Provide consultation and counseling for patients, families, and other caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Participate in necessary meetings and provide input for discharge summaries.
• Supervise and support students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation is required.
• Active PTA license is required.
• New graduates are considered, provided they have Level II experience.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
