Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Days, with variable shifts requiring coverage on weekends. Every 3rd weekend is mandatory, with possible mixed shifts. Weekends are 12-hour shifts while weekdays consist of 10-hour and 8-hour shifts. A sample schedule may include:
- Week one: 5x8hr Days
- Weeks 2 and 3: 2x10hr Days and 1x8hr Day
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Ultrasound Tech who is proficient in routine abdominal and pelvic ultrasound procedures, transvaginal ultrasounds, biophysical profiles, and fetal non-stress tests. The technician will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds
- Perform transvaginal ultrasounds and biophysical profiles
- Assess fetal well-being using non-stress tests
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and imaging standards
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 5-8 years of relevant ultrasound tech experience is required
- ARDMS Abdomen and OBGYN certifications are mandatory
- Proficiency in routine, obstetric, and fetal scanning is essential
- Call coverage may be required as backup
