This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00). Weekends required: Rotation of 1 weekend every 4 weeks.
Job Description
The Occupational Therapist will provide care in a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center. The role involves evaluating and treating patients in various units including Acute, Medical, ICU, and the Inpatient Rehab Unit.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Provide therapy interventions for a variety of diagnoses including multi-trauma, spinal cord injury, and post-surgical care.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Be flexible to float between different units and manage a patient load of 8-9 per day.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Washington State Occupational Therapist License (required).
- Acute care experience is mandatory; previous experience in Inpatient Rehab is preferred.
- Strong self-management, teamwork, and time-management skills are essential.
