Schedule

12-hour shifts, 3 days per week — every other weekend and rotational holidays. Shifts are from 6:45 am - 7:15 pm or 6:45 pm - 7:15 am.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for our Pulmonary & Observation Unit. The unit has a capacity of 32 beds and maintains a nurse to patient ratio of 1:6. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with various respiratory diagnoses and medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and titrate IV drips (e.g., Heparin, Cardizem, Lasix, Dopamine, Amiodarone).
• Perform trach care and manage respiratory therapies (CPAP, BiPAP, high flow O2).
• Collaborate with RT staff to maintain respiratory equipment and care for patients.
• Review telemetry strips during each shift; charge nurse duties may be required.
• Float to Med-Surg or Emergency Department as needed based on staffing and patient care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry/Critical Drips and trach care.
• Knowledge of peritoneal dialysis is preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
