Job Description

The Licensed Respiratory Therapist functions under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor. They are responsible for providing basic cardiopulmonary care in general patient care areas, with the possibility of advanced patient care responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the director or supervisor.

Responsibilities

Deliver basic cardiopulmonary care in patient areas.
Assist with advanced patient care tasks as assigned.
Document patient care activities using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Licensed and registered with the board for respiratory care.
Experience with the Epic charting system.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via the NBRC.
BLS certification (AHA) required.
