Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Services Acute Care team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive therapy services for patients with neuro, multi-trauma, and medically complex diagnoses. This role requires flexibility and the ability to manage a dynamic caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide neuro re-education, gait training, balance, and cognitive re-education.
Utilize mobility devices and lift systems, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Document patient progress and ensure compliance with care protocols.
Assist with home safety assessments and family training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

BLS certification required.
Current Utah Physical Therapist license required.
Graduate of an accredited PT program (MSPT/DPT).
Previous acute care experience is highly recommended; ICU experience preferred.
Understanding of lab values, weight-bearing precautions, and treatment protocols.
