Job Description

Join our dynamic healthcare team on a 42-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. The unit provides care for patients with diverse diagnoses such as cardiac issues, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal conditions, general surgery, and orthopedics. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating with interdisciplinary team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients on heparin, insulin, and Lasix drips.
• Monitor patient health and report any changes to the medical team.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Meditech system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• At least 1 year of Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with patient ratio of 1:6 in a medical-surgical setting.
• Proficiency in administering heparin and insulin protocols.
