This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift available: 5x8 hours (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM) or the option of 4x10 hours depending on interest. Every other weekend required; no call duty.
Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. The technologist is responsible for preparing patients for exams, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role requires a focus on patient care and comfort while maintaining high technical standards in imaging practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for radiological examinations.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations for radiation protection.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT(R) certification required; Ohio license must be obtained prior to start.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Two references from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required for submission.
