Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist for a full-time position starting August 10th. This role includes a 6-month contract with a workload of 40 hours per week. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating assigned patients, developing treatment plans, implementing modifications, and ensuring that therapy services are tailored to meet the patients' needs and goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on patient progression.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to state and federal guidelines.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, mentoring and evaluating students.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities and apply learned knowledge to improve performance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license for the practice of physical therapy.
• Previous assignments with our agency or Select Medical are highly desired but not mandatory.

Schedule

This position is scheduled for 5 days per week with shifts consisting of 8-hour workdays.
