Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs and physician direction. This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for the assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs aimed at facilitating an effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develops appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to address all barriers to discharge.
• Manages individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs.
• Documents medical records in a clear, accurate, and timely manner in compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Participates in student programs as assigned and facilitates a positive learning environment.
• Actively pursues professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Adheres to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintains professional licensure in good standing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• Must hold a valid, current state license for Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Schedule

This position offers a Day Shift, 5x8.0 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
