Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, monitoring patients during procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN will also be expected to remain current on all mandatory training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Monitor and manage patient sedation and vital signs during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols in the Cath Lab.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required at the time of submittal.
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen is required within 12 months of start.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
