This is a 12-hour night shift position, requiring weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our ICU. This unit caters to critically ill patients with complex medical needs, requiring advanced nursing skills and a high level of critical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and administer care to critically ill patients.
- Perform invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
- Titrate critical drips, including Levophed and Amiodarone.
- Manage care for conditions such as Sepsis, Acute MI, and ARDS.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including Hospitalists present 24/7.
- Float to Stepdown or Med-Surg/Telemetry as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Two years of critical care experience required; travel experience preferred.
- Current valid RN license.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
- Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC, NIHSS.
- No travel duos accepted.
