Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Progressive Care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, focusing on cardiac care and monitoring post-cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patient condition, implementing appropriate interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in step-down or ICU settings.
Experience in cardiac care preferred.
