Job Description
The MedSurg/Tele Float Pool Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population across various units. The nurse will float primarily between 6N and 7N, with potential assignments in 4N, 5S, 6S, and Critical Care as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Previous experience in MedSurg/Telemetry nursing required.
- Ability to pass a cardiac rhythm exam.
