Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurg unit, providing exceptional patient care during 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work weekends as scheduled, delivering care to a diverse patient population with various needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients, primarily in med/surg settings.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as ordered.
- Collaborate effectively with charge nurses, nursing aides, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the EPIC charting system.
- Respond to patients' needs and educate them about their healthcare.
Shift
This position involves 12-hour night shifts, working every other weekend. Holiday rotation is required.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license.
- BLS Certification is required.
- Experience in med/surg nursing preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
