Job Description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients admitted to the hospital with a strong emphasis on rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will possess a rehabilitation-focused mindset and be adept at providing comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and create treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
Provide patient-centered care with a focus on rehabilitation outcomes.
Engage in treatments that enhance patient rehabilitation and recovery.
Ability to utilize available rehabilitation equipment and resources.
Document patient progress and treatment effectiveness utilizing Cerner documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must hold a valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
BLS certification is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehab-focused setting is preferred.
