Job Description
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse will work in an acute rehabilitation unit, providing specialized care for adult patients. The nurse will be responsible for developing nursing care plans, administering medications, and providing patient support, ensuring documentation complies with rehabilitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care for patients with neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic conditions.
- Perform medical-surgical nursing procedures as ordered.
- Document patient care activities and rehabilitation-specific information in real-time using Meditech.
- Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation team to implement individualized care plans.
- Adhere to all facility guidelines, policies, and procedures, including attendance and floating policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license with BLS certification.
- Preferably 2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings.
- Experience with patient care documentation and attention to detail.
- Prior experience with adult populations, especially in neurological, cardiac, or orthopedic care, is a plus.
