Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum unit. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who excels in a fast-paced environment, ensuring comprehensive nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients. You will be part of a collaborative team that promotes best practices and supports our patients through their journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to laboring patients with a focus on assessments and interventions.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
- Conduct fetal monitoring and assess fetal heart tones.
- Assist in labor induction, Cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries.
- Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
- Current certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
- Preferred: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
