Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a 34-bed medical/surgical unit. The role includes ensuring optimal patient ratios of 6:1 and utilizing the Meditech documentation system for record-keeping. The nurse will collaborate with a dedicated team, including an on-site unit secretary for day shifts and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) available on all shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration.
- Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the medical team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in a medical/surgical unit preferred.
