Schedule

This position operates on a Day 4x10-Hour schedule, from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM, with alternating evening shifts from 09:30 AM to 08:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting, specializing in Vascular and Cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level 2 trauma center and be comfortable with both trauma patients and routine surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in vascular and cardiac surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any anomalies during surgical interventions.
• Participate in weekend call and night on-call responsibilities, as required.
• Float between Mainland and City Campus as assigned.
• Utilize Cerner for charting and ensure accurate documentation of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required.
• Experience in Vascular and Cardiac procedures is essential.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Valid State License is required at the time of submission.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
