Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional On Call requirements and willingness to float to Geneva as needed.

Job Description

The Sonographer/Ultrasound Technician is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, including general, breast, and vascular imaging. The technician will accurately convey patient and exam information to the Radiologist and ordering physician, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform all technical aspects of ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision.
• Maintain organized and confidential patient data across all forms.
• Educate and keep patients and families informed during examinations.
• Accommodate scheduling demands in a timely manner.
• Exhibit professionalism and courtesy in all patient interactions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of three (3) years of varied ultrasound technology experience, including general, breast, and vascular.
• Completion of training at an approved school in Ultrasound.
• Minimum: BLS certification (through AHA).
• Preferred: Registered specialist (RDMS or equivalent).
