Registered Nurse - MS/Tele-ER Border - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Shifts: 19:30 - 08:00. Every other weekend and holiday coverage required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting providing care to patients within the MS/Tele-ER border. The role requires a wide variety of patient diagnoses including complex emergency department admissions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the scope of practice for MS/Tele-ER border patient management.
• Administer medications and manage IVs.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor vital signs and patient progress in a telemetry setting.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in crisis situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI required; NIHSS preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
