Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday with two weekends required during the assignment.
Job Description
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist will work in a 28-bed unit providing care to patients requiring rehabilitation services. The therapist will treat an average of 3-4 patients daily, with the potential for up to 5 patients on occasion.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and establish treatment plans for patients in inpatient rehabilitation.
- Implement therapy interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Utilize various therapeutic equipment, including hi-low mats, Nustep, Bioness systems, and interactive computer applications.
- Perform wound care as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Advanced skills in therapy techniques and familiarity with rehabilitation equipment preferred.
