RN - Night Shift Nursing

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 Nights (18:45 - 07:15). Weekend coverage required every other week.

Job Description

The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, which includes administering medications, managing patient care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Floating to other units within the facility may be required based on skill set and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes as necessary.
• Provide patient education and support for their care journeys.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely using the Omnicell medication system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
• Active TN RN license or multistate license required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• At least 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR strongly preferred.
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred.
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.
