5x8 AM - Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. No call, weekend, or holiday shifts required.
Job Description
The Licensed Radiation Therapist will provide high-quality patient care by performing imaging procedures and related tasks in a clinical setting. This role involves operating radiation therapy equipment and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiation therapy procedures under the guidance of a physician.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging sessions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards for radiation health.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (Required).
- Basic Life Support Certification from the Default Issuing Body.
- Licensed Radiation Therapist within 3 years of hire from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
