Registered Nurse - OB Labor and Delivery/Nursery

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the OB department, specializing in Labor and Delivery and Nursery care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages, as well as caring for newborns in the nursery.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
Float to the nursery as needed, offering care and support to newborns
Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being during labor
Perform necessary interventions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EHR system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum 1 to 1.5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Nursery care
Current RN license
ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required
Intermediate fetal monitoring certification or higher
STABLE certification for nursery care
