Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on NICU Level III who is dedicated to providing high-quality care for neonates. The ideal candidate must possess a strong clinical background, particularly in the management of neonatal abstinence syndrome, and experience with various neonatal care practices.
Responsibilities
- Administer blood products and manage IVs.
- Perform medication management, including anti-seizure drugs and neonatal dosage calculations.
- Conduct cardiovascular monitoring and provide respiratory support for neonates, including those on ventilators.
- Support breastfeeding and manage enteral feedings and tube placements.
- Monitor glucose levels and administer insulin as necessary.
- Provide developmental care and education to patients and families.
- Adhere to infection control and isolation precautions.
- Participate in sepsis workup and overall neonatal care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU Level III.
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP.
- Experience with neonatal care practices, including managing vents and intubated patients.
