Operating Room Radiology Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a requirement of one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday) and call coverage every 10th week for operating room responsibilities.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Radiology Technician with at least 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating room settings, utilizing EPIC charting, and maintaining patient care standards. Candidates must hold BLS and ARRT certifications, as well as a valid New Jersey Radiology license, which can be obtained prior to the start of the assignment. Vaccination against COVID-19, including a booster, is required, along with compliance to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures in the operating room environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation.
• Provide call coverage as required, responding within 30 minutes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Radiology Technician role, specifically in an operating room setting.
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required.
• Valid New Jersey Radiology License (can be obtained prior to start).
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
