7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday with variable days. Requires 8 days of weekday call and up to 6 days of weekend call per month.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative team environment to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Experience in a community hospital or mixed IR & Cath lab setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterizations and PCIs.
- Monitor patients during procedures, providing sedation and circulatory support.
- Utilize advanced equipment including GE x-ray machines and Alaris pumps.
- Document patient care and procedures using Merge Hemo and Meditech systems.
- Participate in 8 days of weekday call and up to 6 days of weekend call per month.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath lab, including both diagnostic and PCI procedures.
- Current RN licensure and certification as an ARRT or RCIS.
- Experience with monitor management and catheter-related procedures.
- Ability to scrub, circulate, and manage sedation during procedures (RN).
- Advanced skills in interventional radiology, vascular procedures, and the use of Impella and IABP devices.
