Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Trauma & Surgical Services department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in need of surgical and trauma services. You will be part of a dedicated and skilled team committed to ensuring safety, promoting positive patient outcomes, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administering medications and managing IV therapy.
- Collaborating with interprofessional team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes in condition.
- Educating patients and families regarding health conditions and ongoing care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- At least 1 year of recent experience in trauma or surgical nursing preferred.
