Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Schedule

This position requires an 8-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the recovery phase of surgical patients, ensuring quality care and monitoring post-operative recovery.

Responsibilities

Monitor post-operative patients and assess their recovery progress.
Administer medications and manage pain control measures.
Provide clear communication to patients and their families regarding recovery and aftercare.
Maintain comprehensive patient records and collaborate with the surgical team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

A minimum of 3 years of general PACU experience.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in New Jersey.
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
