Shift: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, with an hour lunch from Monday to Thursday; Fridays and weekends off.

Job Description

Join our Patient Care Team within a Rural Healthcare Clinic in beautiful Westcliffe, CO. We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with experience in Outpatient and Orthopedic Care to deliver high-quality patient services.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients through thorough assessments to understand their impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities while determining the diagnosis and intervention strategies.
• Design and modify therapeutic interventions to help patients regain their ability to perform daily activities.
• Focus on preventing injuries and disabilities while promoting overall health, fitness, and wellness across all age groups.
• Engage in consultation, education, and research, sharing knowledge with colleagues and contributing to the latest physical therapy practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Outpatient and Orthopedic Care.
• Graduation from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy and completion of training as prescribed by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of American Medical Association.
• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting examination.
• Current CPR Certification.
