MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:00), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MS/Tele RN to join a high-volume unit specializing in complex care for medicine, ortho overflow, and long-term patients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratios and will be experienced in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and manage patient care within assigned ratios.
• Administer blood products and manage central line care.
• Perform phlebotomy and initiate IVs, including managing PICC lines.
• Assist with rapid response scenarios and code situations.
• Provide comprehensive patient care including wound care, tracheostomy management, and isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NY Registered Nurse license in hand - no exceptions.
• Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience required.
• 1:6 patient ratio experience in a MedSurg or Telemetry setting.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory for first-time travelers.
