Description
Job Description
This position involves evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to the patients' needs and physician direction. You will be responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services and ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on achieving discharge goals within an established timeline.
- Document medical records clearly, concisely, and accurately in compliance with all guidelines.
- Supervise the provision of patient care under appropriate physician orders and verify adherence to insurance approvals.
- Participate in the student program by fostering a positive learning environment.
- Engage in continuous professional development and apply learned information to meet organizational objectives.
- Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
- Promote a strong focus on patient and employee safety in all clinical operations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR Certification.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a 5x8 schedule. You will be required to split time between Aurora and Highlands Ranch.
Assignment Duration
This is a 6-month contract position.
