Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Sonographer responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in making independent judgments regarding the necessity of ultrasound examinations and will be committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures on patients according to physician orders.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations; explain processes and procedures.
- Prepare ultrasound equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
- Maintain patient records and document technical information regarding ultrasound examinations.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current certification as an Ultrasound Sonographer.
- Valid Driver's License or State ID.
- Completion of relevant health screenings and vaccinations required by onboarding.
