Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a Stepdown/MedSurg unit. This flex unit serves both step-down and floor patients, catering to a diverse patient population primarily with medical diagnoses. With an opening projected in first quarter 2026, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to step-down patients with a ratio of 3:1 and med-surg patients with a ratio of 6:1.
- Titrate drips under physician orders for medications such as Heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, and pain management.
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Associates to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize Epic for charting and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and delivery of care in a high-acuity environment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- BLS certification (AHA).
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system is mandatory.
- New and experienced nurses are welcome to apply.
