Job Description
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a Med-Surg unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high standards of nursing practices in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily weights and vital signs monitoring.
- Perform intake/output assessments and hourly rounding.
- Provide bedside report and discharge/admit own patients.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Carry out wound care and IV starts.
- Utilize various medical equipment such as BP machines and Dopplers.
- Ensure compliance with unit guidelines and hospital policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience preferred.
- Must have telemetry and postop care experience.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
- PALS and NIH certifications are a plus.
