Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab is responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients undergoing interventional procedures, including PCI and Interventional Radiology. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and manage care plans for those undergoing Cath Lab procedures.
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Work collaboratively with the Cath Lab team, including CNC, Cath Lab Techs, and fellow RNs to provide seamless patient care.
- Participate in patient education and post-procedural care instructions.
- Rotate on-call responsibilities during evenings and weekends.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license.
- Experience in Cath Lab or interventional radiology preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
