This position requires availability on weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Job Description
The MRI Technologist will perform imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of magnetic resonance imaging technology and the ability to deliver high-quality, accurate images as ordered by physicians.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans.
- Operate MRI equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of images produced.
- Maintain equipment and assist in quality control procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality while managing medical records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current MRI Tech License/Certification as required by state regulations.
- Required immunizations and health records for onboarding, including COVID-19 vaccination and screening for Hepatitis B, Varicella, and PPD/IGRA tests.
- Understanding of safety protocols and patient care standards in MRI.
