Physical Therapist - 8 Hour Days - Oklahoma

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care. The role involves developing appropriate plans of care while adhering to all regulatory and clinical practice standards. The therapist will utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments according to clinical and regulatory requirements.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records per company policy.
• Participate in required meetings, including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings, as well as facility and company trainings.
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.
• Adhere to APTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience is required; new graduates with Level II experience accepted.
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation is required.
• Current Oklahoma State License is required.
