Job Description
The Cath Lab / EP Lab RN will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires proficiency in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology studies and procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions pre, during, and post-procedure.
- Collaborate with physicians and technicians to ensure optimal patient care.
- Administer medications and manage critical equipment within the cath lab and EP lab.
- Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in call requirements, including 8-12 shifts per month, with 2 weekends included.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- Experience in Cath Lab and EP Lab is highly preferred.
