This is a 13-week contract position. Will work every other weekend, with night shifts from 1845 to 0715.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ER and ICU settings, with experience primarily focused on adult patients. The Respiratory Therapist will provide care across all inpatient areas and assist with various procedures, including EKGs and ABG draws.
Responsibilities
- Administer breathing treatments and manage ventilators.
- Draw and analyze ABGs and perform EKGs for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assist in intubation procedures as needed.
- Cover various high-demand areas, including the ICU and ED.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS certifications are preferred.
- Experience in ER, ICU, and adult inpatient care; pediatric experience is a plus, with willingness to train on pediatric procedures.
