Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience working with level 1 trauma hospitals and be proficient in EPIC EMR.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure the safety of patients and staff by adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging files effectively.
- Assist in maintaining imaging equipment and reporting malfunctions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 5 years of current X-Ray experience.
- Active New York State license (NYS) and ARRT (R) certification.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Health Association.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR is required.
